"We will build a life schedule based on the ovulation cycle." Sati Kazanova spoke about pregnancy planning
Sati Kazanova told the Honest Podcast about how she planned her pregnancy and why it happened only seven years after her marriage.
According to 41-year-old Sati, she and her husband, photographer Stefano Tiozzo, tried very hard to have a child during the first five years of their marriage: "I remember that in the last six months, since the end of last summer, I suddenly woke up and started telling my husband: listen, this is not a joke, you and I are often on the road... To the point that we will build a schedule of our lives and trips according to my ovulation cycle. You will not dare to go somewhere so that it coincides with my ovulation! That is, to such an extent." She admitted that she counted on the fact that they would definitely be close at these moments. Because the attempts did not lead to the desired result, doctors suggested that Sati freeze her eggs. According to her, this proposal hurt her deeply: "I categorically did not want interference and, so to speak, an artificial, alternative method. You can't deprive a person of joy if it is really important to him. But I wanted it this way. And I see that he heard me."
She also noted that it was not easy for her husband either, but now they both remember this period with a smile. In addition, Sati recalled that it was at that time that she launched her club, which took a lot of time and effort and required a lot of responsibility: "And what is this responsibility like? Like motherhood... This responsibility oppressed me, crushed me, I resisted, while simultaneously dealing with health issues, I sent my husband for various tests. He complained to me: yes, I am healthy, leave me alone! In retrospect, I see that that event made me very... psychologically mature, if I may say so." Sati came to the conclusion that all these years she simply was not ready for motherhood due to constant fatigue and chronic stress.
Recall that it became known in June that Sati was expecting her first child. The former member of the Fabrika group and Italian photographer Stefano Tiozzo got married in 2017. The couple are followers of Swami Vishwananda, a Hindu guru from the island of Mauritius, Sati practices and teaches yoga.
