Kate Beckinsale Accuses Massage Therapist of Harassment, Says Actress Just Didn't Want to Pay for His Services

A scandal is brewing in Los Angeles around Kate Beckinsale, who has accused massage therapist Nick Abramovich of Bionic Method of harassment. The incident looks complicated because Nick himself accuses Kate of simply deciding not to pay for his services.

It all started when the star's assistant contacted Abramovich and arranged three massage sessions for a total of about three thousand dollars. Two of these sessions were held, but Kate did not show up for the third, nor did she pay the masseur the agreed amount. Having never received the money, Nick told about the situation on his social networks. "When Kate Beckinsale owes you three thousand dollars," he wrote and twenty minutes later received a legal letter from Beckinsale's lawyer, Marty Singer. It spoke of an attack on the actress, allegedly committed by Nick.

"Traumatologist Nick Abramovich knows exactly why he wasn't paid," Beckinsale's spokesperson told Page Six.

Abramovich's services include "intensive" and "emotional" massages. This healing method is similar to that offered by Reiki, a form of alternative medicine that uses the technique of so-called "healing by touching with the palms of the hands." Nick uses psychosomatic practices to relieve pain in various parts of the body. According to him, his clients remain clothed during sessions with him, and he does not use oils or "run his hands" over their bodies, only touching in the right places that are not intimate.

“It’s more like therapy with stretching, sound and breathing,” says Abramovic. The man claims that he even offered Kate to record their session on video, since many of his clients like to watch these videos later to reflect, but the actress refused out of concerns about confidentiality. Beckinsale, in turn, said that there was no such conversation between her and Nick.

According to Abramovich, Kate Beckinsale was very pleased with their first session with him, as reported to him by her assistant — this message in a messenger Nick provided to Page Six. In addition, he said that in a private conversation, Kate compared him to Harry Potter and expressed a willingness to help with the promotion of his social networks, and also offered to throw a party at her house to introduce Abramovich to her friends. Now Nick suspects that Beckinsale was counting on free services by barter, which he did not initially understand.

As a result, the massage therapist and the actress had a second meeting, after which Kate signed up for a third - if you believe Nick's correspondence, which he allegedly conducted with the star's assistant. However, Beckinsale ultimately did not show up for the last session. According to sources close to her, this was because she was harassed and attacked during the second session.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that it had opened an investigation into the incident between Beckinsale and Abramovich, but no charges have been filed.

"To think that my client would file a defamatory police report given that she would have to pay more for my legal services than this man would have to pay is the most ridiculous thing I have heard in my career as a lawyer," Singer said.

He noted that he sent a legal letter to Abramovich shortly after he published a post about Beckinsale, purely by chance, because he does not follow the masseur's social networks. Meanwhile, Nick denies all the accusations against him. He assures that he did not harass Kate and is considering suing her for defamation.
