Beyonce plays Marilyn Monroe in her whiskey ad
Beyoncé has starred in an advert for her SirDavis whiskey brand, which she launched in August in partnership with Moët Hennessy. The pop diva named her new product “Sir Davis” in honour of her great-grandfather, Davis Hoag, who produced bootleg alcohol during Prohibition in the US.
The filming of the commercial, designed in the style of classic Hollywood cinema, took place in the 5-star Plaza Athénée hotel, located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, not far from the Champs Elysees. Among other things, the video shows the Eiffel Tower, lit up at night outside the window of a luxurious room.
In the video, Beyoncé starred with her husband Jay-Z. The singer appeared as Marilyn Monroe - she wore a wig with a hairstyle like the famous actress and a tight gold dress with a deep neckline. Jay-Z dressed in a black three-piece tuxedo.
Kim Kardashian previously appeared as Marilyn Monroe in a photo shoot for Balenciaga.
