Jennifer Lopez, amid her divorce from Ben Affleck and scandals surrounding her ex-boyfriend P. Diddy, told how she copes with hate
Jennifer Lopez told Interview how she copes with online hate amid her divorce from Ben Affleck.
"I know that everything that is written and said about me, all the speculation about who I am as a person, is not who I am. I realized that a long time ago. And social media, because it came after I had been in the public eye for some time, I don't take it as seriously as everyone else," she said, adding that on her path to fame she learned to deal with "that part of the business."
"I know I'm a good person. I know I'm a good mom. I know who my friends are. I know my friends know who I am. Some people are going to love you, some people are not going to understand, and some people are just going to hate you, and none of that really matters," she said.
Jennifer Lopez found herself in the spotlight after her divorce from Ben Affleck. This was their second attempt at a relationship: they had already dated in the 2000s, but then it all ended in a broken engagement. This time they got married, but soon the Internet started talking about how unhappy Ben Affleck looked next to Lopez. As insiders noted, the former spouses had different views on how public their lives should be.
After her breakup with Affleck, Lopez allegedly began to abuse alcohol. At the same time, the network notes that she has another reason for this: the scandals surrounding her ex-boyfriend P. Diddy.
