Lerchek and her ex-husband suspected of escaping from house arrest
Blogger Lerchek (real name Valeria Chekalina) and her ex-husband Artem Chekalin, who were placed under house arrest on October 4, are suspected of escaping. As Mash reports, the police received several signals from the accused's bracelets.
According to the source, Valeria's sensor has already been triggered twice. It starts making a certain sound when you try to remove it. The police came to the blogger's house in the Moscow region and she was there. They checked and replaced her bracelet. Artyom, who is in his country house in the village of Ilyinskoye, is in a different situation - his device loses connection. This happens when the accused goes far from home. The second reason could be radio interference. An operational group also came to the blogger's ex-husband and found him there.
Let us recall that Valeria and Artem Chekalin, as well as the co-founder of the blogger's cosmetics brand Roman Vishnyak, were detained for two days in a case of transferring funds to non-resident accounts using forged documents. The former spouses were placed under house arrest until the end of November. They are prohibited from leaving their homes without written permission, using the Internet, and communicating with witnesses. It also became known that Lerchek refused the services of lawyer Ekaterina Gordon.
A year ago, Lerchek and her then-husband Artem were accused of failing to pay large amounts of taxes and money laundering. At the beginning of this year, the bloggers paid off a debt of half a billion rubles. After the court proceedings were completed, the couple, who are raising three children, divorced.
