'He's had too much alcohol and drugs and may harm himself': Transcript of 911 call on day of Liam Payne's death leaked online

A recording of a call from a Buenos Aires hotel employee to emergency services on the day of Liam Payne's death has appeared online. He reported that they had a guest who was in an inadequate state under the influence of drugs and asked for the emergency services to be sent.

"We have a guest who has taken too many drugs and alcohol. He wakes up and destroys the entire room. We need you to send someone, please," the employee said. He added that the hotel was concerned that he might harm himself. "We need you to come urgently. We are concerned that he might do something that would endanger his life."

The death of the 31-year-old singer, who is known as a member of the group One Direction, was reported yesterday. Presumably, he could have committed suicide after learning about the betrayal of his beloved Kate Cassidy, who left Argentina a couple of days before after a quarrel with him.

The singer's fans did not believe in his death until the very end: shortly before his death, he published many photos and videos in which he stated that he would have a good day.

As journalists learned, the musician had many problems before his death. Thus, today the media reported that the Universal Music label terminated the musician's contract: Payne signed it in 2016, when he began his solo career, and was very proud of it.

Also, a few days before his death, his ex-fiancée Maya Henry filed a lawsuit against him, asking for protection from the singer's persistent harassment. They broke up in 2022 amid his infidelities, and a year later Maya published a book in which the heroine dates a musician who treats her cruelly and forces her to have an abortion. This was seen as Maya's own story. Liam took the book very hard: his relatives told Maya that the singer had become depressed because of it, and if something happened to him, she would be to blame.

Upon learning of Payne's death, Maya was shocked. Later, Liam Payne's fans harassed the girl online: they tagged her in the musician's Instagram photos* and wrote that he died because of her.
