According to a witness, P. Diddy and Lopez were having a heated argument at a VMAs after-party at the Lotus nightclub in New York City on September 7, 2000. Then, the crime alleged in the recent lawsuit allegedly occurred: P. Diddy drugged a 13-year-old girl and raped her in front of the two celebrities.

"Diddy held a bottle of Cristal champagne the entire time he was serving guests. Everyone was dancing and having fun, but as the night went on, tensions between him and J.Lo grew," the insider says.

P. Diddy dated Jennifer Lopez from 1999 to 2001.
