Elon Musk and his son celebrated Trump's election victory
Billionaire Elon Musk celebrated Donald Trump's election victory and attended a party hosted by Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida for his supporters.
The Republican candidate, Trump is beating Kamala Harris in many states, and although his victory has not yet been officially recognized, he has already called himself the new president of the United States.
The founder of Tesla and SpaceX was one of Trump's main sponsors in the recent presidential race and stayed with him until the very end at the campaign headquarters on election day. Photos of Musk next to the politician during the vote counting appeared online. The businessman was talking to the candidate about something and peering at the numbers on his smartphone screen. At the same time, Musk did not show up at Trump's residence alone, but with his four-year-old son from the singer Grimes. For the event, the boy with the unusual name X Æ A-Xii was dressed in a business suit.
After the preliminary results were announced, Musk made a statement on social media X: "The American people gave Trump a crystal clear mandate for change tonight. The future will be fantastic."
The billionaire also published a meme in which he brings a conch shell into the Oval Office. Musk brought a conch shell to the Twitter office after purchasing the social network. The hint turned out to be too transparent: Trump had previously openly promised Elon a position in his new administration.
Musk has already announced that in his new position he plans to get rid of unnecessary bureaucracy by simplifying some procedures. Some departments may also go under the knife with his light hand.
During the election campaign, Musk actively supported Trump, accusing the US Democratic Party of being ready to lie about anything to win. After the preliminary vote count, the largest American media outlets declared Trump to be leading by a significant margin.
