Prince William talks about Kate Middleton's health after cancer battle
Prince William, speaking at an environmental event in South Africa, shared how his wife Kate Middleton is feeling amid her battle with cancer and admitted that this year has been extremely difficult for him as a husband, father and son. According to the Prince of Wales, it has been difficult for him to cope with all the difficulties that have befallen his family.
"It's been terrifying. I think it's the hardest year of my life. It's been really hard trying to juggle everything else and not get off track. But I'm so proud of my wife and my dad, they've come a long way. But it's been hard for our family," he said.
"Kate is doing wonderfully, thank you. I hope she will be watching the ceremony tonight. She has always been so supportive and has been wonderful during this difficult year," the Daily Mail quotes Prince William as saying.
At the beginning of the year, 42-year-old Kate Middleton underwent abdominal surgery and disappeared from the public eye for a while. This led to the emergence of many conspiracy theories. The Internet assumed that Kate could not stand William's betrayal with his mistress, was seriously ill, or even died long ago. At the end of March, the Princess of Wales announced that she was battling cancer. In September, it became known that she had completed chemotherapy and would gradually return to her official duties. Kate occasionally appears in public and has even returned to sports.
King Charles III is also battling cancer: he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Recently, it became known that his wife, Camilla, has a respiratory infection.
