Kate Middleton attends major event with Prince William and Charles III for first time since chemotherapy
A major festival to mark Remembrance Day was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The event was attended by Kate Middleton, who recently began appearing in public after completing chemotherapy.
The 42-year-old Princess of Wales appeared at the event in a black coat dress and black shoes. Her look was completed with a clutch in the same color, a necklace with a pearl pendant and pearl earrings that previously belonged to Princess Diana.
Traditionally, other members of the British royal family also attended the concert on such an important occasion: Charles III, Prince William, Princess Royal Anne and her husband Timothy Lawrence, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester Richard and Birgitta, and the Duke of Kent Edward. They all wore a poppy brooch, which has been a symbol of remembrance since the First World War.
Queen Camilla, 77, missed the event this time. This is probably due to her health condition, as she was diagnosed with a respiratory infection.
This year, many members of the British royal family have been diagnosed with health problems. In February, it became known that Charles III had cancer, which forced him to temporarily step aside. In the spring, the 75-year-old monarch returned to his duties, but continues to undergo treatment.
Later, doctors diagnosed Kate Middleton with cancer. The Princess of Wales underwent abdominal surgery and disappeared from public view for some time. This led to the emergence of many conspiracy theories: some even suggested that Kate could not stand the betrayal of 42-year-old William and fled the palace. According to William himself, the past year was “the hardest in his life.”
