Armie Hammer, who was accused of cannibalism, told about the unusual birthday gift from his mother
Actor Armie Hammer, who has been accused of cannibalism and sexual assault, revealed on his podcast The Armie Hammer Time that his mother gave him a vasectomy for his birthday this year so he could no longer have children.
"I call Armie and I'm like, 'What do you want for your birthday this year?' And he's like, 'I don't know, maybe money. Whatever.' And I was like, 'You know, I'm going to give you a vasectomy,'" the 38-year-old actor's mother recalls.
Hammer, who has two children, daughter Harper and son Ford, with ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers, didn't object. "I went into the doctor's office and said, 'I'm here to get a vasectomy.' The doctor was like, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' I was like, 'I have two beautiful children.' And when asked to pay for the procedure, he said, 'My mom will call you and pay for it.' "She was like, 'What?' And I said, 'Yeah, my mom gave me this for my birthday.'"
Hammer divorced his wife after he was "canceled", which left him literally broke and forced to work as a realtor. The accusations against the actor were based on his leaked sex chats with girls, with whom he talked about BDSM and other sexual practices, and also wrote them frightening things. The actor himself stated that he did not rape the women and that everything was with their consent, and later went to rehab for treatment for sex addiction. The actor was accused of sexualized violence, but they were later dropped. According to his ex-wife, she did not know about her husband's addictions, and this came as a shock to her.
