'Single Mom' Kim Kardashian Says Kanye West Doesn't Care About Their Kids
Kim Kardashian has revealed on the What In The Winkler podcast that her ex-husband Kanye West doesn't care about their four children. The revelation comes amid the scandals surrounding the Yeezy founder and weeks after an anonymous source leaked details about the former couple to the press.
"We mostly see eye to eye on parenting and judgment, but, you know, sometimes I feel like I'm alone in it," Kardashian, 44, told the host. The reality star added that she also feels overwhelmed at times. "Even though I have a lot of support and people around me, sometimes in the middle of the night when you have all these [kids] in your bed, kicking you, crying, waking up, it's..." Kim trailed off. "It's not something I talk about often because then people start to speak up and say, 'You have the resources to hire nannies and maids.'"
But West, 47,'s ex-wife says she "mainly takes care of four kids on her own. "I feel like a race car driver at the pit stop, constantly saying, 'Brush your teeth, get dressed, comb your hair.'
In the podcast, the SKKN by Kim creator revealed that she drives her kids to school herself every morning. "It's really important to me... driving them to school every single day is something I have to do, no matter what my work schedule is," she said.
Earlier, an anonymous source close to the family told the media that the star is "essentially a single mother" because West "isn't around that much" to help raise their children. The source also noted that Kardashian is not currently dating anyone and that this is also "work and kids related."
Kim Kardashian and the Yeezy founder announced their divorce in 2019 after five and a half years of marriage. This came after West revealed that Kim had sought an abortion during her first pregnancy, that she was cheating on him, and that she intended to send him to rehab. Sources close to the rapper's family reported that the artist was going through a cycle of bipolar disorder.
Kanye has repeatedly stated that his ex-wife is not fully involved in raising their children - for example, she allows them to use social networks against his will. However, by court order, the former spouses have joint custody with "equal access" to the children - 11-year-old North, 12-year-old Saint, six-year-old Chicago and five-year-old Psalm.
Since 2022, West has been married to 29-year-old Australian model Bianca Censori, whom he regularly posts naked. The rapper is constantly criticized for this. At the same time, the girl gets along well with the musician's children. The ex-spouses' eldest daughter often appears at concerts with her father, as well as in the company of Censori.
Kanye himself is constantly getting into scandals. The day before, a former employee of the musician filed a lawsuit against him: the man accused West of anti-Semitism and said that the rapper once left a business meeting to have "loud" sex with Censori in the next room, PageSix reports.
The man said he saw West with his pants unbuttoned and Bianca standing topless in the hotel room. After a short conversation with the visitor, West allegedly "rushed" into the room where the girl was without warning and allegedly had sex with her.
After her divorce from West, Kim Kardashian had a nine-month affair with comedian Pete Davidson, who is 13 years her junior. The star introduced the young man to her children, and he got several tattoos in her honor. The couple broke up, allegedly because the comedian wanted a more serious relationship, while Kardashian was not ready for one.
The star later admitted that she felt a strong sense of guilt after their breakup, since Pete "went through a lot" because of her relationship with Kanye. During their romance, the rapper often commented on his ex-wife's new relationship and even promised to beat up Davidson, and in one of his videos, he "buried" him.
"I'm very concerned that Skete (a derogatory nickname West gave Davidson - Ed.) is going to get the mother of my children hooked on drugs. He goes to rehab every two months," Kanye wrote on social media.
Insiders later reported that Davidson was seeing a therapist in the wake of West's threats.
