Insider reveals details of Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster's romance after the actor's ex-wife hinted that he cheated on her
A source close to Hugh Jackman told Us Weekly about how the 56-year-old actor's romance with his new lover, 49-year-old actress Sutton Foster, is going.
According to the insider, the celebrity couple's relationship is very "easy" and "joyful." The stars go to New York restaurants, stroll through Central Park, and support each other in their careers because they understand the responsibilities of the film industry.
“They couldn’t be happier. Jackman admires Foster for her incredible talent, infectious optimism and down-to-earth nature, and she is attracted to his kindness, professionalism and ability to make others feel valued,” the source told the publication.
He added that Hugh and Sutton are treating their romance as a new chapter in their lives and are taking their time to make it official, allowing their relationship to develop naturally away from the public eye. “It’s a balance of playfulness and genuine admiration for each other,” the insider said.
Recently, the internet has been hotly discussing Hugh Jackman’s possible infidelity to his ex-wife Deborah-Lee Furness with Sutton Foster. Rumors that Foster was the reason for Hugh and Deborah-Lee’s divorce have been circulating before, but Furness recently indirectly confirmed them. She liked a blogger’s post, who suggested that the actor “ran away from his unsuspecting wife with his mistress.” A friend of Furness’s commented on the same post: “You hit the nail on the head.”
A source for the Daily Mail said Deborah-Lee decided to like the post because she was “hurt.” She allegedly had long suspected her husband of cheating, but he continued to deny everything: “That was the worst thing. Their marriage was built on honesty. Even if Hugh didn’t cheat physically, she knows he cheated emotionally.”
Hugh Jackman and Deborah-Lee Furness, who is 13 years older than the actor, announced their divorce in September last year. The former spouses have two adopted children. Sutton Foster, in turn, filed for divorce from her husband Ted Griffin after 10 years of marriage.
