Kim Kardashian Shows Up at Skims Boutique Opening with Broken Leg and Heels

Kim Kardashian couldn't miss the opening of her Skims brand's first boutique in New York City, despite breaking her leg last week. The 44-year-old businesswoman showed up to the event in an evening gown and moved around on a rollator.

Kardashian wore a leather top and low-cut Chrome Hearts pants with heels. A crowd of paparazzi and fans were waiting for the star at the entrance to the boutique, located on the famous Fifth Avenue: she waved, posed for them, and then "drove" into the building with a smile. In honor of the opening of the new store, Kanye West's ex-wife also got a manicure with the brand's logo.

The Skims flagship boutique occupies a four-story building in Manhattan that has housed the Versace fashion house for the past twenty years, and is next door to the main Cartier boutique. The Skims interior is done in the brand's signature beige tones, includes a showroom, a VIP area, and office space for 175 employees. This is the brand's sixth and largest store in the United States. Last year, Kim Kardashian's company's turnover reached $4 billion a year, and recently two high-profile collaborations were released - with Dolce & Gabbana and The North Face.
