"Was a millionaire." The first wife of the late Janis Timma accused Anna Sedokova of squandering his money

Janis Timma's first wife Sana Oshs claimed on Instagram* that Anna Sedokova had squandered the late basketball player's money.

"The fact that a person is being humiliated, that he borrowed money... I don't know how and what happened there, but I remember that the man was a millionaire when he got divorced and signed a contract with a Russian club for a huge sum. In what direction was this money spent? Where did a person get such a financial situation that after three years he is no longer able to pay even minimal alimony to his child. She added that she was shocked that Timma had borrowed money and lived in a hostel before his death.

Janis Timma left Sana Oshs for Anna Sedokova, despite the fact that he had a small child at the time. Oshs had previously sued Timma for child support debts for six-year-old Kristian. According to media reports, Timma's property in Riga was put up for auction due to a lack of funds: a share in a plot of land and a parking space. Because of this, Janis had to borrow 1 million rubles from Sedokova.

32-year-old Janis Timma was found dead on the night of December 17. He committed suicide on Anna Sedokova's birthday. According to one version, Timma wanted to scare his ex-wife, but this turned into a tragedy. The reasons for the suicide are said to be divorce, financial problems and career failures. After his death, Sedokova admitted that she had been "living in hell" in recent years, but online she was accused of Timma's death. She was also unflatteringly spoken of by Janis's former coach, who claimed that she "destroyed" him as a player, as well as a friend who believes that Timma was "obsessed" with Sedokova.
