Lily Collins posts photo of newborn daughter after surrogacy criticism

Lily Collins, 35, who recently became a mother for the first time and faced criticism for having her baby via surrogacy, has posted the first photo of her newborn daughter Tove on Instagram*.

In the photo, taken by her husband, 41-year-old Charlie McDowell, the actress is walking with the baby in a stroller.

Lily and Charlie became parents a few days ago. When the couple announced the addition to their family and revealed that their first child was born with the help of a surrogate mother, they were criticized online. Some users considered it immoral to "buy children", while others said that Lily was young enough to give birth on her own and accused her of not wanting to ruin her figure.

For both spouses, who got married in 2021, this is the first child.
