Britney Spears' ex-husband revealed how much she paid him after their divorce.

The ex-husband of 43-year-old Britney Spears, Kevin Federline, who recently released a scandalous memoir, revealed in it what alimony she paid him after the divorce.
It turned out that after the divorce, the court awarded Kevin $20,000 per month in child support for both children. He also received an additional $20,000 per month for half of their three-year marriage, or eighteen months, as compensation. After the divorce, the court awarded Kevin custody of the children, as Britney was declared legally incompetent.
However, Federline noted that this money didn't last long: "Almost all of it went toward rent, transportation, security, childcare, and other expenses necessary for two children." He added that he signed a "pretty standard" prenuptial agreement with Britney, although at the time he believed they didn't need one. Federline described himself as a hard worker: "I worked hard and invested. I wasn't a slacker just waiting for money."
Previously, Kevin Federline revealed in his memoir that Britney often came into her sons' room with a knife while they were sleeping, and then simply left without explanation. Federline stated that he feared for his sons, but never spoke out against Spears. The singer herself later responded to the allegations, claiming that everything her ex-husband wrote about her was a lie. She believes Federline simply wants to make money off her name, and she is suffering because of it.
Interestingly, Kevin's memoirs were met with a cold reception online from Spears fans, who believed he was trying to cash in on the singer's name. Another of Britney's ex-husbands, Sam Asghari, expressed the same opinion.
As a reminder, Federline and Spears married in 2004 and divorced three years later. They had two sons together: Sean Preston and Jayden James. In 2008, after a nervous breakdown, Britney was placed under conservatorship, and for many years, her life was completely controlled by her father, Jamie. It was only in 2021 that the singer was able to free herself from the conservatorship.
After leaving the conservatorship, she began posting strange videos and dances, including with knives, which led fans to worry about her mental state. Spears herself maintains that she is fine.
