Madonna posted a video of herself wearing a ring amid engagement rumors with her 29-year-old boyfriend.
Madonna responded to rumors that she was preparing to marry her 29-year-old soccer player boyfriend, Akeem Morris. She posted a video on TikTok in which she accepted a "ring" in the form of a soccer ball keychain from Morris, who was kneeling on one knee. At the end of the video, the 67-year-old singer gave the camera the middle finger.
"I said, 'Goal,'" Madonna captioned the video. The internet is now speculating whether it was a joke, or whether the couple's engagement was genuine, albeit staged in a humorous manner.
Earlier, Western tabloids reported that the singer had secretly become engaged to Morris, who is 38 years her junior. Anonymous sources told reporters that the couple was allegedly already deciding between Italy and Portugal for their wedding, and the star, although "charmed" by her lover, intends to sign a prenuptial agreement with him.
Madonna and Akeem Morris, who plays for NY Renegades FC, have been dating for about three years. She has previously dated other younger men. Before this, the singer was married twice: to actor Sean Penn and director Guy Ritchie. She has two biological children (daughter Lourdes and son Rocco) and four adopted children.
