"20 Years of Degradation and Torment." Askold Zapashny's Ex-Wife, Whom He Cheated On, Speaks Out About Their Marriage

46-year-old Elena Zapashnaya, Askold Zapashny's ex-wife, commented on their nearly 20 years together. The reason for this was the circus performer's recent confessions that he cheated on his wife and fathered an illegitimate son with his mistress.

"Never have I been inundated with so many likes on a photo we shared together as I have these days. You've revived an archive from the dinosaur era. Don't worry, I won't delete anything—I'm too lazy, it's a waste of time. Let it hang as a gentle reminder of 20 'formal' years of degradation and torment," wrote Helen on Instagram*.

Zapashnaya had previously spoken out about her ex-husband's revelations, aired on the program "Secret for a Million," which she claimed came as a surprise. "A traitor worth a million," she summed it up succinctly.

As a reminder, 48-year-old Askold Zapashny recently announced his divorce from his wife. He said their relationship was initially beset by obstacles, ranging from his parents' disapproval to differing life views. Frequent conflicts and misunderstandings led to a loss of affection between the spouses: "We became friends with obligations and a stamp in their passports. I tried to talk about it, but no one really listened. I guess Elen believed it was possible to exist like that."

The trainer also admitted to cheating on his ex-wife for several years with his colleague Diana (her appearance and occupation have already been revealed online), and in 2016, she gave birth to his son. The boy was named Askold after his father, and is now nine years old. Askold and Diana separated shortly after his birth.

Askold and Elen Zapashny got married in 2007. The former spouses have two daughters: 15-year-old Eva and 14-year-old Elsa.

The trainer's eldest daughter recently spoke out about his illegitimate son. Eva says she doesn't know her half-brother and has no ill feelings toward him. However, she condemns the boy's mother: "I have an absolutely negative attitude toward those who tried to destroy my family."
