Meghan Markle begins Christmas preparations amid criticism of her brand
44-year-old Meghan Markle has begun preparing for the upcoming Christmas and New Year.
The Duchess of Sussex posted a video on her social media of herself hanging a stocking filled with presents over the fireplace, as is tradition. Her home, meanwhile, is already decorated with festive fir branches and twinkling lights.
Apparently, Meghan decided to use this method to promote her brand As Ever's new holiday collection. She announced the release of this collection on October 28th. The line includes sparkling wine, candles, fruit pâtés, and much more.
Meghan recently faced criticism for a scented candle called Signature Candle No. 519, which was also part of this collection. The candle was inspired by Markle and Prince Harry's wedding day. Many felt that the Duchess of Sussex was trying to capitalize on her connection to the British royal family, even though she and Harry stepped back from their royal duties in 2020 and moved to the United States.
