Cristiano Ronaldo, his fiancée Georgina Rodriguez, and Elon Musk met with Donald Trump.

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his fiancée, Georgina Rodriguez, attended a dinner at the White House hosted by US President Donald Trump in honor of the arrival of Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Billionaire Elon Musk and other influential guests were also present.
During the event, 40-year-old Cristiano, who previously said he was more handsome than David Beckham, took a selfie with his fiancée, Elon Musk, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and other guests.
Investor David Sachs posted a photo online that's already been compared to the "star" selfie Ellen DeGeneres took at the 2014 Oscars. "This is way better than the selfie Ellen took," users wrote.
At the dinner, Donald Trump said his son Barron is a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo. "We have some of the most powerful leaders in the world in this room—from business, from sports. My son is a big fan of Ronaldo. Barron met him, and I think he respects his dad even more now—just because I introduced you."
The Saudi Arabian prince's visit sparked widespread public outcry in the United States. Previously, American intelligence reported that Mohammed bin Salman approved the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in 2018. The journalist entered the consulate to pick up documents necessary for his remarriage. His fiancée was denied entry and waited outside until midnight. He never emerged from the consulate, where, according to media reports, he was killed and his body disposed of. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan later stated that the journalist was killed for political reasons.
