Tara Reid was hospitalized from a hotel after claiming she was drugged at a bar.

Tara Reid, a popular actress in the 2000s, was photographed in a hotel room in a distraught state. The "American Pie" star, who had previously had drug problems, was hospitalized. She soon came forward and claimed to have been drugged by unknown individuals at a bar.

Bystander videos of 50-year-old Reed are circulating on social media: the footage, filmed in a Chicago hotel, shows the actress disoriented, her speech slurred, and those around her having to support her to keep her from falling. At one point, she nearly slipped out of the wheelchair provided by the staff. At the end of the video, Tara is seen being wheeled away by paramedics who responded to the call.

Following the revelation, Reed issued a statement alleging that she may have been drugged while at the hotel bar. Reed said she checked into her room late Saturday night and went downstairs to have a drink at the bar. After ordering a drink, she encountered a group of YouTubers in the lobby while smoking a cigarette, and one of them joined her. When she returned to the bar, her drink was allegedly covered with a napkin that had not been there before. She said the next thing she remembers after drinking the drink is being in a hospital room.

"I didn't finish my drink and just passed out. And when I woke up, I was already in the hospital. It's really scary... You have to be really careful with drinks. [At the hospital] they said, 'You were drugged at the bar last night,'" TMZ quotes Reed as saying.

The actress reportedly filed a police report following the incident. She also urged everyone to "be careful, keep an eye on your drinks, and never leave them unattended, as this could happen to anyone."

It's worth noting that Tara Reid suffered from drug addiction in the past. The former star is also frequently criticized in the media for her altered appearance: for years, Tara has been suspected of anorexia and botched plastic surgery.
