The buyer of Larisa Dolina's apartment lost her lawsuit again and was left without money.

The Second Cassation Court rejected the appeal of the buyer of Larisa Dolina's apartment, which she sold due to fraud, and upheld the property as the artist's property. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the court's ruling.

Polina Lurye's appeal against the court's decision was heard behind closed doors. The singer's lawyers insisted on this, as the results of a medical examination of 70-year-old Dolina were being read out at the hearing. (The media had previously reported the experts' findings: they concluded that she allegedly entered into the transaction while mentally unstable.) Neither she nor the plaintiff appeared in court.

Lurye's lawyer has already stated that they intend to appeal the decision in the Supreme Court.

In the summer of 2024, Dolina recorded a video message in which she stated that scammers had tricked her into selling her luxury apartment in Khamovniki and handing over the proceeds. Prior to this, the perpetrators had spent three months "culling" the artist, ultimately stealing over 175 million rubles—including the proceeds from the sale of the apartment (with a market value of 138 million rubles), which Dolina had sold to Moscow resident Lurye.

The singer filed a lawsuit, and the court invalidated the apartment sale and ordered it returned to the artist. As a result, the buyer was left without both the property and the money.

Moreover, as has already been calculated online, Dolina herself will be able to earn at least 100 million rubles on corporate events during the upcoming New Year holidays alone and recoup some of the money she gave to the scammers.

The Dolina case has set a legal precedent: "cheated pensioners" are now increasingly demanding that buyers return their apartments. Following the events, Wikipedia even published a page discussing the "Dolina Effect," also known as the "granny scheme." The story has also gone viral on social media. Memes are being created about Dolina: a photo of her in a suit with a dollar bill print, which, coincidentally, she recently wore on a new TNT project, has gone viral. She also received separate criticism for appearing in an advertisement for a housing lottery following the scandal.
