Kim Kardashian, who was robbed during Paris Fashion Week in 2016, has admitted that her ex-husband Kanye West believes the incident was staged.
Kim revealed that some media outlets and public figures doubted her story, including her ex-husband, Kanye West. He said, "You staged a robbery for a TV show." He made that statement in front of all those people. It was like a knife in the heart," Kim, 45, said on the latest episode of the reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
Kardashian admitted that the robbery was one of the most terrifying events in her life: "To think that someone so close to me doesn't believe me. Even though he must know how much this changed my life. It hurt me so much. And then, finally, after the trial, I thought, 'See, it's true.'"
As a reminder, the robbery, which caused a widespread stir at the time, took place at the luxury Hôtel de Pourtalès, where Kardashian was staying during Fashion Week. According to her, armed men in police uniforms burst into her room. They tied her up, gagged her, and locked her in the bathroom. The criminals stole jewelry worth approximately €10 million, including a diamond engagement ring given to her by Kanye West, her then-husband. In May, a hearing was held in the Kim Kardashian robbery case. During the hearing, Kim stated that she forgave one of the defendants because he admitted his guilt and publicly apologized.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian divorced in 2022 after five years of marriage, but they still argue over child custody. The former couple has four children: 12-year-old North, nine-year-old Saint, seven-year-old Chicago, and five-year-old Psalm. Kim claims she's raising them alone, while Kanye West claims his ex-wife is preventing him from seeing his younger children.

Her family is concerned that the rapper is pressuring her and controlling her behavior.
