Kelly Osbourne, daughter of the late Ozzy Osbourne, who was suspected of anorexia after her recent public appearance, responded to online criticism. Users noted that Osbourne had lost a significant amount of weight and began to look unhealthy. Commentators even suggested she may have lost the weight on "Ozempic," though some linked her condition to her father's recent death.
She posted a video on Instagram* asking her followers to stop commenting. "What do you want from me? How do you want me to look right now? The fact that I'm getting out of bed and living my life should be enough. You're saying I look sick, but I am sick. My life has been completely turned upside down, and I don't understand why people want me to look like everything is fine in my life. I'm 100% honest and I always share my experiences with people. But these mean comments aren't going to help anyone. You think you're smart, but you're just mentally ill," Osbourne, 41, said.
She also noted that people compare her current photos to those of her at 18, and that she has changed a lot since then: "People's faces change when they grow up. What upsets me most is that all these comments are written by grown women. And it makes me really angry that women can't support other women."
Kelly Osbourne has always been open about her weight gain and weight loss. The star admitted that bullying about her figure began in her youth: at the time, she weighed 90 kg (200 lbs) and was 160 cm (5'6") tall. Even her father, Ozzy Osbourne, made fun of her, which ultimately prompted her to lose weight. In 2009, training for "Dancing with the Stars" resulted in her losing 22 kg (50 lbs). In 2020, Kelly Osbourne revealed she had undergone a stomach reduction and injections into her jaw and chin. In 2024, Osborne sharply commented on rumors about her weight loss, stating that she had never taken Ozempic, although her mother lost weight thanks to this drug.
