Conor McGregor has married the mother of his four children after a 17-year relationship and a sex scandal.

37-year-old Conor McGregor married his longtime girlfriend, Dee Devlin. The wedding took place privately at the Church of Santo Stefano degli Abiçini in the Vatican, reports the Mirror.

McGregor's security team ensured that no unauthorized persons could enter the church grounds, and local residents were prohibited from photographing the bride. The church was reportedly decorated with thousands of white roses, and the newlyweds entered through a floral arch. A string quartet and a 10-member choir performed for the ceremony's guests. Weddings in the Vatican are rare and are conducted by special arrangement with the authorities. According to media reports, officials expressed reservations about allowing McGregor to marry in the church due to his scandalous reputation.

Mixed martial arts champion Conor McGregor and 38-year-old Dee Devlin have been together for 17 years and are raising four children. They met in 2008 at a Dublin nightclub, where Devlin was working as a waitress. McGregor was unknown at the time: he was just starting out in sports and working part-time as a plumber. The couple remained together while McGregor was building his career, and his girlfriend supported him even during a sex scandal. Last year, McGregor was found guilty of raping Nikita Hand in a Dublin hotel in 2018. He paid her $266,000 in compensation and $1.4 million in legal fees. In court, the fighter insisted that they had consensual sex.

McGregor and Devlin are raising four children. Their eldest son, Conor Jack McGregor Jr., was born in May 2017, and their daughter, Croia, was born in early 2019. In 2021, the couple welcomed a son, Rhian, and two years ago, Mac.
