"He had no one to consult with." Yana Rudkovskaya explained why Evgeni Plushenko had a facelift.

Yana Rudkovskaya spoke about the plastic surgery her husband, Evgeni Plushenko, underwent. According to the producer, the 43-year-old figure skater initially planned to simply remove bags under his eyes, but ultimately opted for an endoscopic facelift (a gentle facelift technique) because he "had no one to consult with."

On Pavel Volya's talk show, "Show Volya," Rudkovskaya admitted that she had suggested to her husband that he "do something" about the area around his eyes and recommended the clinic of her longtime friend, Timur Khaidarov. Plushenko readily agreed, but things didn't go as planned: "I was flying to Baku on business, but my flight was delayed. He came in for a consultation, and the surgery was supposed to happen right away, literally in 15 minutes. He ended up not answering me for 5, 10, 15, 20 hours."

Later, when Rudkovskaya contacted Khaidarov, it turned out the procedure had been much more extensive than expected. "I called Timur and asked, 'What did you do there?' And he replied, 'We just did a little mischief—we did an endoscopic lift. You were away, so he had no one to consult with,'" Yana said. She also added that if Evgeni hadn't published a high-profile video* of his transformation, the changes might have gone unnoticed. However, the athlete was quick to share the results: "The video was filmed just two weeks after the surgery. Of course, his face was still very taut—he looked like an 'Asian Plushenko.'"

Plushenko previously showed what she looks like three months after plastic surgery. Incidentally, Rudkovskaya herself has already said that she didn't know about the surgery beforehand, and the result was a shock: "That is, I only found out about this operation after it happened. Timur divorced my husband in a friendly manner."

As a reminder, in early June, Plushenko posted a video on social media following plastic surgery performed by the infamous surgeon Timur Khaidarov and thanked him for his work. However, users harshly criticized the athlete's appearance, claiming he no longer looked like himself. Commenters quipped, "Did you make him look like a fox?"

Yana Rudkovskaya recently spoke out about the scandal surrounding 14-year-old figure skater Elena Kostyleva. The athlete's mother accused Plushenko of ruining her daughter's career. In response, the producer described the Kostylev family's harsh parenting methods and published a shocking video as proof.
