Brad Pitt gained access to Angelina Jolie's private messages as part of his winery trial.
Angelina Jolie has been ordered to give her ex-husband Brad Pitt access to her private messages as part of an ongoing court case involving the Château Miraval winery.
Pitt, 62, has won another round in his long-running dispute with Jolie over the sale of her winery stake without his consent. A Los Angeles court ordered the 50-year-old actress to hand over a number of confidential personal messages related to the case. Pitt had previously requested access to Jolie's correspondence with Stoli Group top manager Alexey Oleynik. The star now has 45 days to hand over the data.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt began dating in 2005 and, in 2008, purchased the Château Miraval winery in France, which became their "love nest." They married there in 2014 and separated two years later. Jolie has never set foot at the winery since, and in 2022, she sold her stake for $64 million to Yuri Shefler, founder of the Stoli Group of Companies. Pitt claimed that he and Jolie had an oral agreement that they could not sell their stakes without the other's consent. The actress herself denied the existence of such an agreement in court.
The couple were together for over 10 years. They separated in 2016 and officially divorced only at the end of last year. The couple has six children: adopted children Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, as well as biological children Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox. Pitt is currently dating Ines de Ramon, who is two years his junior.
