Måneskin frontman Damiano David marries his girlfriend Dove Cameron

Måneskin frontman Damiano David and actress Dove Cameron announced their engagement. Cameron announced the singer's proposal on her Instagram*, posting a photo of her wearing a ring.

"My favorite part of life. Happy New Year!" Cameron, 29, captioned a series of photos of her and David, 26, posing at a party, with the Descendants star showing off his engagement ring.

Rumors of the Måneskin frontman's engagement first surfaced in October: he and Cameron were photographed together in Sydney, with a diamond ring spotted on the actress's ring finger. That same month, the actress celebrated the anniversary of her relationship with David, posting on social media in honor of the occasion. "The best two years of my life," she wrote, declaring her love for David.

Cameron and David's relationship first became a topic of discussion in September 2023, when the former Disney Channel star was spotted at one of the musician's performances. The couple's official red carpet debut took place in February 2024 at the gala dedicated to the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony.

In an interview, Cameron explained why she decided to go public with her relationship. "We talked about it early on because it's a weird topic to talk about. Damiano said, 'If someone can post a photo of their partner and share the normal, beautiful moments of their life, why should it be any different for us?'" she recalled.

David, for his part, spoke enthusiastically of his relationship with Cameron. "I'm so in love. We're very lucky because we both love music. We really connect," he explained.

Damiano Davide previously had an affair with Italian model Giorgia Soleri.
