Larisa Dolina, who was evicted from her controversial apartment in Khamovniki yesterday, will pay approximately 50 million rubles to remove a homemade pond discovered on the property of her mansion in the Moscow region.

On January 12, Saratov businessman Gleb Ryskov filed a petition with the prosecutor's office requesting an inspection of a 230-square-meter pond he discovered in the protective coastal strip of an unnamed stream in the Moscow region, Shot reports. According to Ryskov, Larisa Dolina built it next to her mansion, for which she allegedly failed to pay taxes for 12 years. The singer was denied permission to construct the artificial pond, and now she will have to dismantle it at her own expense.

The pond remediation work could take about two months, Shot reports. It will be necessary to coordinate with the local administration and conduct an expert assessment, followed by a complete pond restoration. The process includes removing all fauna from the water, pumping, disposal, sediment removal, and waterproofing. After cleaning, the pond will need to be filled with several layers of crushed stone, clay, and soil, after which vegetation can be planted. Landscape designer Ekaterina Levento told the source that such work will cost approximately 50 million rubles, and only if the pond is no more than two meters deep. Otherwise, the costs will increase.

As a reminder, Larisa Dolina spent a year and a half in court with Polina Lurye, the buyer of her Moscow apartment. In 2024, the singer claimed she had sold the property and given the money to the scammers. She handed them approximately 180 million rubles in total, and when she realized she had been defrauded, she filed a lawsuit, and the apartment was returned to her. Lurye, meanwhile, was left without money or housing.

The story gained traction later, when similar incidents began to occur across the country. Apartment owners, following Dolina's example, reclaimed their sold properties through the courts, leaving buyers with nothing. The scheme was dubbed the "Dolina effect" and called the most negative event of 2025. The story even made it into Vanity Fair. As a result, many users sided with Polina Lurye, and the artist and her concerts began to be "canceled" en masse. The day before, bailiffs evicted Larisa Dolina from the controversial apartment, while she is currently vacationing in Abu Dhabi.
