56-year-old rapper P. Diddy (real name Sean Combs), who was recently sentenced to prison for sex trafficking, has indirectly confessed to involvement in the murder of Tupac Shakur, according to the New York Post, citing a new lawsuit filed in New York Supreme Court.

According to the plaintiff, an escort named Steve Otis, Diddy raped him in a Manhattan hotel in 2012 after drugging him. Afterward, the rapper allegedly threatened him with violence, citing Shakur's death as an example. "You better not say a word about this to anyone. If I could take out Pac, what do you think could happen to you?" the victim recalls him saying.

After the incident, according to the victim, the threats continued: in 2014, when Otis left a comment on P. Diddy's Instagram*, third parties associated with the rapper again reminded him of the possible consequences. The lawsuit states that the owner of an escort agency Otis worked with warned him that people associated with Diddy could "make people disappear." The plaintiff claims he took this as a direct demand to remain silent under threat of death.

The victim explained that long-standing fear for his life prevented him from speaking out sooner. He filed the lawsuit only after Combs was convicted of other sex crimes.

As a reminder, iconic rap artist Tupac Shakur died on September 13, 1996, at the age of 25, after being fatally wounded in a shootout in Las Vegas. Earlier, alleged killer Dwayne "Keff D" Davis claimed that P. Diddy ordered the hit, offering him $1 million. However, Combs himself has publicly denied any involvement in the tragedy for many years and has not been officially listed as a suspect.

Not long ago, P. Diddy found himself at the center of another high-profile scandal. In 2024, he was arrested on charges of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and pedophilia. The investigation began after allegations from his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and similar accusations soon began to surface against the rapper. In total, more than 120 lawsuits have been filed against Combs, including from underage victims. The victims alleged that the rapes occurred at "white parties" allegedly attended by Will Smith, Paris Hilton, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Leonardo DiCaprio, and other celebrities.

Last summer, Diddy was found guilty of two of five charges, two counts of transporting people for prostitution, and acquitted of the most serious charges: racketeering and sex trafficking. Ultimately, this fall, he was sentenced to four years and two months in prison for two counts of transporting people for prostitution. Federal prosecutors had sought more than 11 years, but the judge imposed a sentence of 50 months and a $500,000 fine. Previously, many predicted the rapper would face up to 20 years in prison.
