Peter Mulliez is the new creative director of Versace.

Peter Mullier has been appointed the new creative director of Versace, according to a joint press release from the fashion house and Prada Group. The designer will assume his duties on July 1.
The appointment of 49-year-old Mullier is part of a major transformation of the fashion house following its acquisition by the conglomerate (which also includes Prada and Miu Miu) at the end of 2025. The designer will replace Dario Vitale, who led the brand for less than a year following the departure of Donatella Versace in the spring of 2025.
To take up his new role, Peter Mullier left his post as creative director of Alaïa, where he had served since 2021, during which time he restored the brand's iconic status. It was previously reported that Donatella Versace would remain with the company as a global ambassador and would continue to support the house's philanthropic initiatives.
