Kate Middleton and Prince William arrived in Wales for a visit

As last year, Kate Middleton and Prince William visited Wales ahead of the national holiday, St. David's Day.
For the visit, 44-year-old Kate chose a burgundy look: she was wearing her favorite red coat from Alexander McQueen, which she has worn in public several times, a blouse with a pussy-bow, a maxi skirt, and high patent leather boots. 43-year-old William opted for a brown jacket, a blue jumper, and straight-leg trousers. On their chests, the couple wore matching daffodil brooches - a symbol of St. David, which is traditionally worn on the day of the feast as a sign of respect for Welsh heritage.
During their trip, the couple met with local residents and volunteers and participated in a number of festive events. These included visiting Hanging Gardens, a community space, where they joined an art workshop, trying Welsh pastry making at Pontypridd Market, and strolling through the Oriel Davies Gallery of Contemporary Art in Newtown.
Earlier, the Prince and Princess of Wales were guests of honor at the 2026 BAFTA Awards.
As a reminder, Kate Middleton and Prince William, the eldest son of King Charles III and Princess Diana, who have been married since 2011, have three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. In 2024, Middleton suddenly disappeared from the public eye, and a few months later announced she had been diagnosed with cancer. After a year of treatment, she went into remission. Rumors recently circulated that the disease had returned, but these have not been confirmed.
