It has one peculiarity: the engagement ring of the world's number one tennis player, Aryna Sabalenka, was valued at almost $1 million.

A jeweler has revealed details about the engagement ring of world number one tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, who recently accepted a marriage proposal from her boyfriend, Brazilian businessman Georgios Frangoulis. Experts have also estimated the jewelry's approximate value.
The ring was designed by ISA Grutman Jewelry founder and CEO Isabela Grutman, who worked with Georgios for several months to perfect the piece before he proposed.
"We spent months designing, choosing the stones, and perfecting every detail to make this ring truly special for Arina," she said on social media.
This "classic" platinum ring features a large oval-cut diamond, which, according to a Hello! expert, makes the piece "timeless." Taylor Swift, for example, previously received a similar engagement ring.
The ring also features one "unique" detail: emerald inlays along the edges. This was Georgios's idea, as it's Arina's favorite stone, Grutman explained. "Frangoulis's idea to include emeralds in the design added even more symbolism to the ring, as it's Arina's favorite stone. It's a personal detail that makes the ring uniquely hers," the designer said.
The diamond weighs over 12 carats, and the ring could cost up to $800,000, according to the Daily Mail. "The oval diamond has been the most popular shape for the past two to five years. The advantage of this cut is that it appears larger than round stones of the same weight," Masina Diamonds CEO Rastin Yasavolian told the outlet.
The day before, 27-year-old Sabalenka shared details of her intimate engagement on social media, posting a video of Georgios proposing to her in the evening by a pool strewn with rose petals. Arina was dressed in jeans, a white T-shirt, and black flip-flops. "Well, I obviously had no idea it was going to happen tonight," she joked in her Stories*.
Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka and Frangulis, the founder of a popular restaurant chain, met in 2024 when she became his brand ambassador. She later admitted in an interview that it was he who helped her through the difficult times following the suicide of her previous boyfriend.
Last January, after another victory on the court, Sabalenka publicly hinted to Frangoulis that she wanted to marry him. She had previously told reporters that she dreamed of a large family and children.
Earlier, an online "battle" of the engagement rings of the daughter of the ruler of Dubai and lovers Cristiano Ronaldo and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos took place.
