Mickey Rourke lost his Los Angeles home due to debt.

Mickey Rourke has officially been foreclosed on from his Los Angeles rental due to debt. Page Six, citing court documents, reports that the 73-year-old actor's former residence on Drexel Avenue has been repossessed by its owner.
The ruling was entered earlier this week in Los Angeles County Superior Court in absentia, meaning Rourke likely did not appear to defend himself or respond to the lawsuit.
In December, a court ordered Rourke to vacate the house within three days or pay nearly $60,000 in back rent. Afterward, the actor was seen removing his belongings from the residence. Reporters then learned that Rourke was staying at a luxury hotel in West Hollywood, where rooms cost $550 per night.
Earlier, a fundraising campaign was launched online in Rourke's name, with fans attempting to raise $100,000 for his housing needs. However, the actor denied any involvement in the fundraiser. In a video posted on Instagram*, Rourke claimed he wasn't asking for "damn charity" and that he had "too much pride" to ask for help.
"If I needed money, I wouldn't ask for any damn charity. I'd rather stick a gun up my ass and pull the trigger... My life is very simple, I wouldn't ask for outside help," he said.
His manager, meanwhile, told the media that, despite an abundance of film offers, Rourke demands A-list salaries and won't work for less than $200,000 a day. "He's rich but poor, so to speak," a source previously told the Daily Mail, commenting on Rourke's financial situation, adding that he "lived the life of a rock star, abusing drugs and alcohol for many years."
"He has the potential to earn significant sums of money by acting in films and participating in reality shows, but he immediately spends it," the publication's source claimed.
Mickey Rourke rose to fame with films such as "Nine and a Half Weeks" and "Angel Heart." He is a Golden Globe and BAFTA winner and an Oscar nominee for "The Wrestler." He was also a professional boxer. He has been married twice, including relationships with Russian women. Rourke has no children. He has previously admitted to having undergone several plastic surgeries (the results of the most recent recently became a topic of online debate).
