She opted for a comfortable look for the flight: loose black sweatpants, a simple white T-shirt, and a burgundy leather jacket. A colorful scarf adorned her neck, and her long blonde hair was worn loose. Her husband, wearing the same casual, all-black look, accompanied her. Lindsay Lohan moved to Dubai in 2015. In an interview on the show "Live with Kelly and Mark," she admitted that she decided to leave Hollywood due to intense media and fan attention. She was attracted to Dubai for its strict privacy laws, which allows her to feel safe.

It was in the United Arab Emirates in 2019 that Lohan met her current husband, 39-year-old Bader Shammas, an assistant vice president at Credit Suisse, an international asset management firm based in Dubai. The couple announced their engagement in November 2021 and married in June 2022. On July 16, 2023, Lindsay gave birth to their son, Louai.
