The 98th Academy Awards ceremony took place in Los Angeles on Monday night. We've already looked at the stars' best looks on the red carpet—now it's time to discuss the worst looks, according to Spletnik fashion editor Maria Moiseeva .
"Hamnet" director Chloé Zhao seemed to frighten photographers by appearing in a mourning look made of glittery fabric by Gabriela Hearst. Author Maggie O'Farrell opted for a strange bright pink look with a veil, while Danielle Brooks simply wore an ill-fitting dress. Fashion journalist Tania Fares opted for a square, accordion-style skirt for the awards, and Felicity Jones wore a Prada dress in an unfortunate shade.
Actress Laura Lufesi posed in a patchwork dress in acid-colored prints, while Melissa McCarthy accessorized with a dated hairstyle.
