Tom Hardy's wife talks about her marriage to him

In an interview with The Times, 44-year-old actress Charlotte Riley spoke about her marriage to 48-year-old actor Tom Hardy. The couple have been together for 11 years and are raising two sons: 10-year-old Leo and seven-year-old Forrest.

Charlotte Riley said that until their children are old enough, she prefers to stay home, thereby providing "family stability." This is why the actors avoid working on multiple projects simultaneously.

As it turns out, Tom and Charlotte love spending time with their sons, engaging in creative activities. "We paint a lot as a family. The kitchen is our art studio, filled with art supplies, large canvases, and clay sculptures. One of us starts [painting], and someone else comes in and adds to it. Sometimes we spend hours on it, sometimes we just leave it alone," Charlotte Riley said.

Despite Charlotte Riley and Tom Hardy being household names, their sons generally stay away from the world of show business. The couple never wanted their children to be in the public eye.

As a reminder, Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley secretly married in 2014, four years after their engagement. The celebrities met on the set of the 2009 film "Wuthering Heights." Riley also starred in "Peaky Blinders," "Edge of Tomorrow," and "London Has Fallen." Charlotte's pregnancy was first announced when she appeared with her husband at the London premiere of "Legend" in 2015. Tom Hardy also has an older son, Louis, with Rachael Speed.
