The boyfriend of cancer patient Lerchek stated that she repaid a 175 million ruble debt herself.

Argentinean Luis Squicciarini, the fiancé of 33-year-old Lerchek (real name Valeria Chekalina), who was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer, claimed that the blogger paid off her multi-million ruble tax debt herself. Previously, it was reported that an individual had transferred 175 million rubles on her behalf.
"The tax debt has been repaid. It wasn't repaid by someone else, but by myself," 38-year-old Squicciarini wrote on social media.
When Lerchek's lawyers presented the debt payment documents to the court, they indicated that the funds had been deposited into the blogger's account by an individual. The defense refused to disclose who exactly had helped the star, fueling rumors of a secret benefactor—Roman Abramovich and Alisher Usmanov were mentioned.
On March 16, Moscow's Gagarinsky Court suspended the criminal case against Lerchek due to her serious illness and changed her pretrial detention from house arrest to a ban on certain activities. The following day, it was announced that she had paid off her 175 million ruble tax debt.
As a reminder, news of Chekalina's diagnosis broke in early March. Immediately after the birth of her son in late February, she was admitted to intensive care, where doctors discovered stage-four stomach cancer with metastases to her lungs, spine, and legs. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy at a state oncology center.
Lerchek previously filed a complaint with the Investigative Committee, requesting an investigation into the investigator, who, according to her, prevented doctors from visiting her and obstructed examinations during her house arrest. According to the blogger, this led to the disease being detected too late—it was diagnosed in its final stages, when metastases had already spread. The Ministry of Internal Affairs denies Chekalina's allegations.
Not long ago, Lerchek and her boyfriend also announced the launch of a new blogger brand, and her ex-husband, Artyom Chekalin, revealed that she currently needs money. Lerchek divorced Artyom two years ago amid a criminal case alleging the illegal transfer of over 250 million rubles earned from selling fitness marathons abroad. The ex-spouses, who have three children together, spent over a year under house arrest, living separately.
Interestingly, yesterday, reports surfaced of Lerchek's condition being completely different from what she and Squicchiarini are reporting on social media. One user of the Telegram channel "Mom's Fashionista" wrote that she saw the blogger at an elite fitness club a few days ago: "She's doing well—she worked out and went to the sauna."
