Cardi B's ex-husband, rapper Offset, was wounded in a shooting.
Cardi B's ex-husband, 34-year-old rapper Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus), was shot and hospitalized in Florida on Monday evening. The artist's entourage reported that Offset is currently under medical supervision.
"Khiari is currently in the hospital receiving medical care. He is in stable condition and is being closely monitored," Offset's representative told Variety.
The founder of the American band Migos was injured in a dispute near the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood. Two people have already been detained by police, and the investigation is ongoing.
As a reminder, in December 2023, Cardi B announced her separation from Offset after five years of marriage. They married in 2018 after dating for several months. The couple had three children together: Kalche (born in 2018), Wave (born in 2021), and Blossom (born in 2024). Offset also has three more children with three ex-boyfriends. The couple had previously announced their separation twice, rumored to be due to the musician's infidelity, but they never finalized the divorce.
After her relationship with Offset, 33-year-old Cardi B began dating NFL player Stefon Diggs, with whom she gave birth to her fourth child last fall. However, the couple split earlier this year.
