Singer Sia will pay $40,000 in child support to her ex-husband.

Singer Sia, 50, will pay more than $40,000 monthly in child support to her ex-husband, Dan Bernard. The Los Angeles County Superior Court ruled yesterday, People reports. The payments will be used to support their two-year-old son, Somersault-Wonder, until he turns 18.
In addition to monthly payments, Sia is also responsible for paying for private school tuition, agreed-upon extracurricular activities, and medical expenses not covered by insurance. The former spouses will co-parent their son according to a schedule that specifies specific days for Dan Bernard's custody during the week and weekends, as well as a detailed schedule of holidays.
As a reminder, Sia and Dan Bernard married in December 2022, making this her second marriage. She was previously married to Eric Lange, but the couple divorced in 2016 after two years of marriage. The singer has three sons: two of them, Desani and Che, are adopted, while Sia gave birth to Somersault-Wonder with Bernard in March 2024. It's worth noting that the singer carefully concealed her first pregnancy: she took a long break from touring, and only later did a photo of Sia with a small child in a baby carrier appear on social media. This led some Russian media outlets to report that the singer had given birth to a daughter. Sia previously announced that she had become a grandmother.
