"You changed my life." Jaden Smith addressed Jackie Chan on his birthday.

Will Smith's son, Jaden, addressed 72-year-old Jackie Chan on his birthday. The actors share a strong friendship and affection, forged during the filming of "The Karate Kid," in which Jaden starred at the age of 11.
"I love you. You changed my life and taught me things I will never forget. Without you, I would never be who I am. You are a legend, an icon, and a leader. Happy birthday! See you soon!" Jaden Smith wrote on his blog.
Jaden's star father, Will Smith, also expresses gratitude to Jackie Chan. The actor previously publicly thanked his colleague "for helping me raise" his son.
Last year, 27-year-old Jaden became the first creative director of Christian Louboutin's menswear line: under his leadership, four collections of footwear, accessories, and leather goods will be released annually. Back in 2012, Jaden, along with his sister, Willow, launched the streetwear brand MSFTSrep and later became an ambassador for New Balance sneakers. In addition to acting and modeling, Jaden Smith is known as a rapper. He has released three studio albums, 16 tracks, and 28 music videos. He has collaborated with Justin Bieber and has charted on the Billboard charts.
However, things haven't been so rosy for the family's father lately. Earlier this year, 57-year-old Will Smith found himself at the center of a scandal: a member of the actor's touring crew accused him of sexual harassment.
