Having won a small victory in court, by the decision of which Britney Spears was able to independently choose a lawyer who is ready to defend her in the case against the custody of her father, the 39-year-old singer continues to fight for her independence and freedom. So, the other day, the star of the noughties published a post on Instagram, in which she said that she was going to end her career while her father was controlling her life.

Britney posted a picture with the text of this content:

Accept me for who I am, or kiss my ass, eat shit and step on lego.

The singer accompanied this post with the text:

I'm not going to perform on stage while my father decides what I wear, say, do or think. I've been doing this for the last 13 years. It is better to dance in pajamas, without styling and makeup in your living room, than away from the audience on the Las Vegas stage, without being able to shake hands with fans. In addition, I have not been allowed to make remixes of my songs and record new singles for a very long time. So I'm leaving!

Spears was also outraged by the behavior of her sister Jamie Lynn. At the Radio Disney Music Awards 2017, she performed a mix of Britney's hits, which greatly hurt the latter:

I don't like that my sister showed up at the award ceremony and performed my songs in remixes! The so-called support has deeply wounded me!

It is worth noting that a few hours before the publication of this post, another post appeared on Spears ' page. In it, Britney said that a loved one who loudly declared his support, in fact, did nothing to lend Britney a helping hand in a difficult time. The singer did not give a name, but the followers decided that it was just about Britney's younger sister, who recently really publicly expressed support for Britney.

The public reaction was not long in coming — Britney's fans attacked the singer's sister Jamie Lynn on Instagram. "Snake", "Toxic family members", "Bye, Jamie Lynn" - such comments can now be found under almost every publication of Jamie Lynn, who, by the way, stated some time ago that she and her family were receiving threats.

So, I have only hope left, and hope is the only thing in this world that is very difficult to kill. And yet people are still trying! I didn't like the fact that humiliating moments from the past appear in documentaries about me. I've been through all this for a long time, for a long time!

- Britney added, and at the end she addressed the subscribers who criticize her content on Instagram:

For women who say it's strange that I still believe in fairy tales... Go to hell! As I said, hope is all I have right now. You're lucky that I publish anything at all. If you don't like what you see, please unsubscribe from me. People are trying to kill hope, because hope is one of the most vulnerable and fragile things in the world. And now I'm going to go and read a fucking fairy tale! P.S. If you don't want to see my precious ass dancing in my living room, or it doesn't meet your standards, go read a fucking book!

Recall that now Britney Spears has been trying to get rid of the guardianship of her father since 2014. In June of this year, for the first time in two years, she personally appeared in court, once again asking to terminate custody of her.
