Iconic Comeback: 67-Year-Old Madonna Rocks Coachella in Lingerie and Stockings

The second weekend of the Coachella music festival has kicked off in the United States. One of the most unexpected events was the appearance of Madonna – the singer, who last performed at the festival 20 years ago, performed in Sabrina Carpenter's set.

For her high-profile comeback, the 67-year-old actress opted for a provocative look. She wore a purple lingerie-style top, a corset, long satin gloves, purple lace stockings, thigh-high boots, and colored-lens glasses. It is noteworthy that the singer wore an identical outfit during her debut at the festival in 2006.

During the joint performance, the artists performed two of Madonna's iconic hits, "Vogue" and "Like a Prayer." The singer also presented a new track from her upcoming album, Confessions II. The album is a direct follow-up to one of the most successful releases in her career, Confessions on a Dance Floor, released in 2005.

It's worth noting that in recent years, public attention has often focused less on the artist's work than on her appearance. Madonna is regularly criticized for her extensive use of filters and the publication of revealing photos. Several years ago, rapper 50 Cent mocked the singer, saying that at her age, "it's time for her to calm down." However, Madonna herself doesn't respond to such comments and maintains that she can do whatever she wants.

This year, one of the world's largest music festivals is taking place from April 10th to 19th. Earlier in the event, British singer MIA performed in a costume inspired by the Telegram messenger logo, and Maryam Tillyaeva, the granddaughter of the former president of Uzbekistan, criticized the festival's English-speaking guests, calling them "mercantile" and "ungrateful."
