"This is what a happy childhood looks like." "Meme king" Prince Louis plays cricket and swims in a new palace video.

The Royal Palace has released a new video featuring Prince Louis, the "public's favorite," who turned eight the day before. In the clip, the youngest son of Prince William, the heir to the throne, and his wife, Kate Middleton, plays cricket, frolics on the beach, and jumps from a boat into the water.

The comments are filled with discussion of the video, celebrating the prince's "happy childhood." "It's nice to see childhood looking the way it should for an eight-year-old," "It doesn't matter what your title is, as long as it involves playing in the sand," and "He's the cutest," users write.

Some also note Louis's unwavering charisma, comparing the prince to his 12-year-old brother, George, and six-year-old sister, Charlotte. "Charlotte is rules, George is duty, and Louis is pure joy. The perfect balance in one family." "Mischievousness in the eyes and absolute fearlessness in front of the cameras. The monarchy needs such lively people!" people note.

Despite his young age, Prince Louis has already won the affection of his subjects. Unlike his older brother and sister, Louis is completely open about his affections in public: his funny antics, parodies of his older brother, and even King Charles III on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during official events regularly become memes. Due to his age and, apparently, his personality, the prince often behaves like a normal child, not a "protocol doll," which evokes genuine affection from the public rather than condemnation. He is perceived as a "little rebel" who brings a dose of reality and humor to the strict life of the Windsors. And although Louis is currently fourth in line to the throne after his father and siblings, jokes on social media that he is "ready for his crown."
