Rapper d4vd was found in possession of "tons" of child pornography. He is accused of murdering a 14-year-old.

21-year-old rapper d4vd (real name David Anthony Burke), suspected of murdering a 14-year-old girl with whom he had an affair, was found in possession of child pornography. The data was found on the rapper's phone, TMZ reports.
Amid the investigation into the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose dismembered remains were found in the trunk of Burke's car last September, the rapper appeared in court for a preliminary hearing. During the hearing, prosecutors said they had searched Burke's phone and discovered a "massive amount" of child pornography—approximately 40 terabytes. It is unclear whether the discovered files included pornographic material featuring Celeste.
As a reminder, a shocking story made headlines in September 2025, when plastic bags containing dismembered human remains were found in the trunk of the singer's car, which had been impounded. Local residents, who noticed a foul odor coming from the car, called the police. The victim turned out to be Celeste Rivas, who had gone missing on April 5, 2024. She was 14 years old at the time of her disappearance. She was identified by a "Shhh..." tattoo on her finger (the same tattoo d4vd has).
Prosecutors allege that d4vd and Celeste had an intimate relationship: the girl was 13 at the time, and the rapper was 20. They met in 2022 in a fan chat, but their relationship began later, around September 2023. When Celeste threatened to reveal their affair and ruin his career, Burke allegedly killed her. Last Thursday, d4vd was arrested by police and charged with murder, indecent assault of a person under 14, and abuse of a body. The singer's lawyer pleaded not guilty to all charges. At the hearing, the rapper was handcuffed and dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for May 1.
In the context of this high-profile situation, users are actively discussing the artist's work. d4vd gained widespread popularity thanks to his hit "Romantic Homicide," which contains lines about violence and death: "In the back of my mind, I killed you and I don't even regret it. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's true, I hate you." One of the rapper's tracks is even named after the murdered girl—Celeste.
David Burke, known as d4vd, burst onto the music scene in 2022. Two of his songs, including the dark hit "Romantic Homicide," went viral on TikTok and sold millions of copies, reaching a spot on the Billboard Hot 100. At the time of his arrest for murder, he was signed to Darkroom Records and Interscope. d4vd has now been removed from both companies' websites.
