Internet users are convinced that Britney Spears's adult sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, deliberately checked their mother into rehab so they could move into her house. While the 44-year-old singer is in rehab following a March drunk driving arrest, her 20- and 19-year-old sons have allegedly moved into her mansion and are living a lavish lifestyle at her expense. These rumors began on social media after an insider reported the news on Rob Shooter's Naughty But Nice podcast.
"The boys [Spears' sons] didn't hesitate. They moved right in like they owned the place," the source claims. "They live in a huge house rent-free, drive her expensive cars, and come and go as they please. They enjoy all the perks that come with being Britney Spears' sons. While their mom is trying to start over, it looks like someone else is very comfortable under her roof."
The insider also claims that it was Britney's sons who insisted she undergo treatment for alcohol and drug addiction. This has previously been reported by other publications, such as The Mirror US. "They pushed for it, saying it was what she needed," the source says. "Maybe it's nothing, maybe it's just the family trying to maintain unity, but now everyone sees it differently."
Meanwhile, social media users are divided into two camps: some believe the singer's sons are simply keeping the house tidy for their mother's arrival, while others directly accuse them of self-interest and cynicism.
