45-year-old rapper Ray J (real name William Ray Norwood Jr.), known for his leaked sex tape with Kim Kardashian, claimed to have slept with 12,500 different women in his life. He shared his revelations on Cam Newton's podcast, Funky Friday.
"We had a celebration for my 10,000th [partner] at a club. About 400-500 girls I slept with showed up, it was a whole parade," Ray boasted. Cam calculated that over 30 years of such activity, the rapper must have been having more than one woman a day. The artist responded, "It varies. When we're on tour, we average five to ten women a day." This isn't the first such statement from Jay. Back in November 2025, on the BagFuel podcast, he claimed to have had more than 10,000 "bodies."
This explosive statement hasn't gone unnoticed online. While some are demanding that Ray, who has been infamous for treating women like "pieces of meat," be "canceled," others are mocking the rapper and his wild imagination, not believing the reported figures.
In January 2026, Jay startled fans with another statement. In a video posted on social media, he said, "2027 is definitely my last year. I shouldn't have stressed myself out like that." The rapper also asked to be cremated rather than buried, adding that his children and ex-wife would be financially supported.
Ray J is known online, in part, for his scandalous sex tape with Kim Kardashian, whom he dated from 2003 to 2006. The tape, featuring Kim and the rapper, surfaced online in 2007, when the 26-year-old Kim was still a little-known stylist. Porn company Vivid Entertainment released the leaked video (according to Ray J, it was a planned release by the Kardashian-Jenner family) under the title "Kim Kardashian, Superstar," and it earned $1.4 million in sales in just six weeks. Kanye West's ex-wife filed a lawsuit against Vivid but ultimately settled for $5 million. The reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" premiered almost simultaneously. Now, 45-year-old Kim Kardashian's net worth is estimated at nearly $2 billion.
In October 2025, Kim sued Ray for defamation after he publicly implied that the leak of their sex tape was orchestrated. The rapper countersued. Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, in her testimony called Jay's accusations that she orchestrated the "commercial exploitation" of the video "completely false." "The idea that I orchestrated or produced sex tapes featuring my daughter, or was in any way involved in the creation or distribution of any such tapes, is not only completely untrue, but deeply offensive and harmful. It has haunted me for decades," Kris said.
