Princess Eugenie is expecting her third child.

Princess Eugenie, the youngest daughter of disgraced ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, announced her third pregnancy on her personal blog: "Baby Brooksbank due in 2026!" Buckingham Palace followed with a post captioned: "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce that they are expecting their third child, due this summer. His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news."
Both accounts posted a photo of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's sons holding an ultrasound scan of their future sibling. The baby's gender, as well as its future name, are currently being withheld.
Princess Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank have been together for 15 years: the couple met in 2010 while on holiday in France and began dating a year later. They are now raising sons: five-year-old Augustus and seven-year-old Ernest. Eugenie and Jack's third child will be the 15th great-grandchild of the late Elizabeth II and the fifth grandchild of former Prince Andrew.
As a reminder, Princess Eugenie of York and her sister Beatrice have recently been discussed in the context of the scandal involving their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Previously, the brother of King Charles III of Great Britain was arrested amid an investigation into his ties to billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. As a result, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice were banned from attending Royal Ascot, Britain's premier horse racing event. According to a source, Prince William advised other family members to keep the Princesses of York "at arm's length" until at least the end of the year.
