42-year-old actress Olivia Wilde responded to criticism for being too thin after her latest public appearance.
"I'm not dying," Olivia declared in her Stories* in response to criticism from followers in the comments section of a video from the red carpet at the San Francisco International Film Festival. In the footage, fans say Wilde looks too thin and gaunt.
In her Stories*, the actress's younger brother, Charlie Cockburn, jokingly asks her, "Olivia, how do you respond to the recent rumors that you look like a resurrected corpse?" To which Wilde replies, "I don't know why I got so close to the camera, I just didn't need to stand there."
As a reminder, in late April 2026, Olivia attended an event at the San Francisco International Film Festival. A video of the actress on the red carpet that same evening was criticized online. According to subscribers, Wilde had lost too much weight. After the video was posted, people even began comparing her to Gollum from the Lord of the Rings film series.
Most of the actress's fans decided she'd gone overboard with the Ozempic: "First Angelina Jolie looked like a ghost of her former self, and now Olivia Wilde looks like she's had too many weight-loss injections. What's going on with Hollywood actresses?" they wrote under the video.
Fans believe the actress's weight loss may be related to her relationship with basketball player Dane DiLiegro, who is four years younger than Wilde. The relationship with the athlete is Olivia's first publicly publicized affair since her split from singer Harry Styles.
